Damara grew up in Whitby Ontario, and would consider her style to be mostly Pop with a touch of Soul.
She started writing songs at 19, after losing her father. Through music she found an outlet for expression and has never looked back. She released her first official single "A New Day" in August 2020, and her second single "Burdens" in January 2021.
In February of 2022, Damara fully released her first ever EP after successfully running a kickstarter campaign for the album. Her EP release has been featured on multiple Christian Music sites, and 2 of her EP songs "Brave" and "Where I Wanna Be" can be heard on Canadian Christian Radio.
Since the release of her debut EP, Damara released 3 more songs - "Don't Give Up Now" "Holy of Hollies" and an EDM meets worship cover of "A Thousand Hallelujahs". She is currently working on a second EP, "The Space Between".
Damara hopes to both encourage fellow Christians, and bring the message of hope in the gospel to the world through her music.
