Damara has a beautiful way of telling stories through her music.
Damara grew up in Whitby Ontario, and would consider her style to be mostly Pop with a touch of Soul.
She started writing songs at 19, after losing her father. Through music she found an outlet for expression and has never looked back. She released her first official single "A New Day" in August 2020, and her second single "Burdens" in January 2021.
In February, Damara fully released her first ever EP after successfully running a kickstarter campaign for the album. Her EP release has been featured on multiple Christian Music sites, and 2 of her EP songs "Brave" and "Where I Wanna Be" are getting airplay on Canadian Christian Radio.
Damara has just released her latest single "Don't Give Up Now" - an encouragement to Christians everywhere to not grow weary of doing good.
Damara hopes to both encourage fellow Christians, and bring the message of hope in the gospel to the world through her music.
